When the vessel activity was "unknown", it is assumed that fishing is the intention of the voyage. When the vessel activity was not reported ("blank"), it is assumed that the voyage was commercial (non-fishing). The TSB estimates that the majority of vessels of unknown gross tonnage (GT) are under 15 GT, and these vessels are identified in this table. When the vessel flag was "unknown", "n/a", or not reported ("blank") it was assumed that the vessel was Canadian.
