New freight rail service and performance information that is submitted by rail carriers on a weekly basis is now available at Weekly Rail Performance Indicators. As of April 10, 2023, this new and improved dataset replaced indicators that had been published since December 2018. This significantly expanded set of indicators, including additional geographic dimensions and a broader range of commodities, improves supply chain transparency and provide freight rail users and the public with much more relevant and precise information relating to rail service and performance in Canada.
