Description:

The table shows aggregate fuel consumption across participating action plan operators. Following a significant decline in domestic and international fuel consumption associated with the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, overall fuel consumption has increased to its fourth highest level in 2023 despite efficiency improvements as a result of a rebound in overall activity.

Methodology:

Based on Transport Canada aggregated operator data collection.
